I was driving by a sign yesterday that read "Broken Crayons Still Color." It's a simple yet powerful message. It symbolizes resilience. It reminds us that we are masterpieces with untapped creative abilities just waiting to reveal the true colors of our soul.
We all have experienced hardship. Life is a challenging landscape of colorful lessons. Sometimes the weight of the world makes us feel broken inside. But that doesn't mean that we are broken. Just as our physical bodies can heal, our emotional and mental states can heal as well. And although we may change on many levels, we are always capable of coloring our world and manifesting our destiny.
Most of us aren't even utilizing a fragment of the magic we possess within our spirits. Our wounds keep us contained. If only we understood that it's necessary to feel the blues in order to learn how to paint the town red. And that there is yellow shining brightly within our cores just waiting to burst on to the scene.
Use your broken crayons. Don't neglect those tools that taught you about forgiveness, compassion, and love. Then learn to create the image you want to see in the world. Your life is waiting for you to live it to the fullest.
Start coloring.
